Daily Deal: A novel Las Vegas freebie -- Warhol’s art at Bellagio

If you happen to be in Las Vegas on Oct. 5, why not step away from the tables and take in a bit of culture? The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art inside the Bellagio Las Vegas offers free admission to the exhibit “Warhol Out West” for one day only.
The deal: The offer is made in honor of Museum Day 2013, which nationwide is Saturday. The Bellagio Gallery will offer the free admission a week later for visitors who sign up in advance at the gallery’s website.
After signing up, you must bring in a voucher form (from the website) that’s good for two people to enter the museum. Children 12 and younger may enter free, provided they are with an adult.
When: The freebie is good between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 5.
Details: The museum usually charges $16 per person to the gallery. The show’s 60 artworks -- paintings, prints and film -- covers Warhol’s Western themes from the 1960s to the 1980s, including silkscreens of “Cowboys and Indians: Geronimo” from 1986 and “Dolly Parton” from 1985. The exhibition continues through Jan. 2.
