Offbeat Traveler: Pink Sands Beach in the Bahamas

We’ve shown you Big Sur’s purple sand beach and Hawaii’s green sand beach. This week, it’s on to the Bahamas for a look at Pink Sands Beach.

The beach, which derives its light pink hue from coral, is on Harbour Island. It’s considered one of the Bahamas’ best beaches. Popular activities here include swimming and snorkeling, because a reef off the beach keeps its waters calm.
