Style profile: Taz Arnold
Urban peacock Taz Arnold may have gotten his big break in the music industry, but his passion has always been fashion. He says of growing up in South L.A.: “I was soaking up the hippie, black consciousness, surf-beach aesthetic.”

Apart from designing his own clothing line, TI$A, he also designs luggage, baseball caps and other pieces for leather goods brand MCM, which had its heyday in the 80s and is positioning itself for a revival.

Leather gloves, a wallet and a visor are some of Arnold’s MCM creations. “Accessories can make your outfit,” says the music producer-performer who has worked with Kanye West, Herbie Hancock and Iggy Pop.
