It has been a touch-and-go situation recently for USC’s Darreus Rogers.
The junior receiver spent two games sidelined because of a hamstring injury and has been slowed during the practice week.
Rogers said he felt “a lot better” after he completed a full practice on Tuesday, but he was again limited on Wednesday.
“We’re just being careful with him,” Interim Coach Clay Helton said after practice. “When you have a hamstring as a wide receiver, it’s like a ticking time bomb.”
Rogers has caught 14 passes for 130 yards in six games.
Rogers said the team would miss JuJu Smith-Schuster if he was sidelined Saturday recovering from hand surgery, but that he would be able to fill his role.
“We miss his energy out there, so I’m just trying to keep that going for us,” Rogers said.
