Records: Bruins 23-7, 12-5, Cougars 9-20, 2-15.
Update: There is nothing for the Bruins to attain here with a victory, other than momentum for next week’s Pac-12 tournament. UCLA is already assured of being the second-seeded team. The Bruins certainly don’t want to stumble against the Cougars, who are tied for last in the Pac-12. DaVonte Lacy averages 19.6 points to lead the Cougars, but it has been a rough season. Lacy missed two games because of an appendectomy, one the conference opener against Arizona. He missed six more games with a rib injury. Lacy has averaged 20.5 points the last four games. The Bruins’ Kyle Anderson needs five assists to become the first Pac-12 player to have 200 rebounds and 200 assists since UCLA’s Bill Walton in 1973-74.
