UCLA point guard target Quentin Snider commits to Illinois

The last UCLA point guard target from the class of 2014, Quentin Snider from Ballard High in Kentucky, announced Thursday that he has committed to Illinois.
The decision will probably leave first-year UCLA Coach Steve Alford with zero commitments at a critical position for the early signing period in November.
On Wednesday, Jordan McLaughlin of Etiwanda committed to USC over UCLA, causing some panic among Bruins fans who earlier saw Parker Jackson-Cartwright of Los Angeles Loyola commit to Arizona and Robert Cartwright of La Canada Flintridge Prep commit to Stanford.
