Lindsey Vonn has declared herself fully recovered from yet another injury and eager to resume racing later this month.
The American skier broke her ankle during a training run in New Zealand earlier this year and missed the World Cup opener in Austria.
She is scheduled to make her season debut in Aspen, Colo.
“I have a really good feeling about this season,” she told the Associated Press. “This is going to be a really good year.”
Vonn, who holds the career record for victories on the World Cup circuit and is a four-time overall champion, previously battled back from multiple knee injuries.
At 30, she plans to focus on the downhill and super-G this season.
