Could the Kansas City Chiefs be the latest worst-to-first team?

In each of the last 10 seasons, at least one team has gone from worst to first in its division. That’s an NFL record.
So which team is going to do it this season?
The last-place finishers in 2012 were Buffalo, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Carolina and Arizona.
The No. 1 candidate is Kansas City, with Coach Andy Reid, quarterback Alex Smith and a roster loaded with Pro Bowl talent. According to Elias Sports Bureau, the 2012 Chiefs were the first team to have six Pro Bowl players and fewer than six victories in a season.
Buffalo looked good Sunday against New England, and Carolina was tough against Seattle. Meanwhile, the Chiefs rolled to a 28-2 victory over Jaguars in Jacksonville.
Yes, the Jaguars aren’t a great team. Yes, everyone expected Kansas City to win. But the Chiefs are looking like a good worst-to-first pick.
Oh, wait, they’re in the AFC West with Denver. Won’t be so easy after all.
