Update: This is the opening game of the Major League Soccer season for both teams, with the Galaxy trying to win a record fifth MLS championship. The Galaxy was knocked out of last year’s playoffs by Real Salt Lake, which defeated the Galaxy 2-1 in aggregate in the two-game conference semifinals.
