Update: The Knicks had been on a roll, winning eight consecutive games, until a 106-100 loss at home Sunday to Cleveland. The Knicks and new President Phil Jackson remain in ninth place in the Eastern Conference, a few games behind Atlanta for the final playoff spot. New York beat the Lakers in January, 110-103, with Carmelo Anthony scoring 35 points and guards Raymond Felton (20 points) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (18 points) also contributing.
