Update: Point guard Mike Conley had 28 points Sunday against Minnesota but left late in the game with a bruised thigh and was deemed day to day for Tuesday’s game. Memphis has been trying to weather the loss of center Marc Gasol, sidelined almost four weeks because of a sprained knee. Zach Randolph scored 28 points against the Lakers last month, continually beating them down low in the final minutes of the Grizzlies’ 89-86 victory.
