Update: The Lakers lost at Chicago last month, 102-100, when Mike Dunleavy found Taj Gibson for an easy layup off an inbounds play with 0.9 of a second left in overtime. The Bulls are still in position to make the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference despite salary-dumping Luol Deng in a trade with Cleveland and losing Derrick Rose for the season because of a knee injury. Chicago is 2-3 on a trip that ends against the Lakers.
