It looked like Alemany would take a sizeable lead into halftime but Barry Ware took a hitch pass 58 yards for a touchdown with two seconds left in the second quarter to pull Corona Centennial within a touchdown, 28-21.
Tre Watson has run for two touchdowns for Centennial and Okalani Langi has two for host Alemany.
