Track: Luigi Colella clears 16-7 in the pole vault

It’s shaping up to be an intriguing season in the pole vault.
Last week, Luigi Colella of Thousand Oaks cleared 16 feet, 7 inches at the Ventura Invitational.
Carl Johansson of Orange Lutheran went 16-6 at the South Coast Classic.
These pole vaulters want to go higher, so it’s going to be quite a spring seeing how high they get.
