Track: Amir Ali Patterson goes to court trying to regain eligibility

Amir Ali Patterson of Encino Crespi, one of the top shot putters in the state, is going to court in an attempt to overturn a Southern Section decision that declared him ineligible for his senior season, according to his mother, Amina Fakir.
A hearing is scheduled for Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
