More events canceled because of hot weather

It’s not only the Los Angeles Unified School District canceling outside sports events because of weather.
West Hills Chaminade canceled a girls’ field hockey match against Huntington Beach scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
“It’s scheduled to be 110 degrees in Woodland Hills, so we figured for safety reasons, we shouldn’t play,” Chaminade Athletic Director Todd Borowski said.
Santa Margarita canceled a water polo match against Huntington Beach.
