Washington and Gardena are taking action after a post-game fight that occurred after the conclusion of their Marine League football game last week.
Trent Cornelius, the LAUSD sports coordinator, said, “Schools have identified the culprits and they are disciplining kids.”
Gardena won the game, 36-8.
Cornelius said he expects both teams to have enough players to play games on Friday night.
Washington is scheduled to play Carson and Gardena is playing Banning.
