Football: Santa Margarita, Trabuco Hills meet in Pac-5 showdown

Two teams that hope to be prominent in their respective leagues and in the Pac-5 playoffswill meet in a nonleague game Thursday night. Santa Margarita (2-2) will play at Trabuco Hills (4-0). It’s an important game for both schools.
Santa Margarita has lost twice in close games to Bishop Amat and Bishop Gorman and is trying to build momentum for the start of Trinity League play.
Trabuco Hills is off to one of its best starts and is hoping to be the primary challenger to Mission Viejo in the South Coast League.
