San Fernando has a 28-14 halftime lead over South Gate in the City Section Division II final at East L.A. College.
Charles Bell has an 80-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and an 18-yard touchdown reception for San Fernando. Cristian Solano has passed for 150 yards and ran for a touchdown.
Lavell Thompson and Alex Flatos have touchdowns for South Gate, which has closed to 28-20 after another Thompson touchdown to start the third quarter.
