Football: Prep fans get to choose which game will be broadcast on TV

Time Warner Cable has begun a competition that will allow high school football fans to choose which game will be aired on its game of the week.
Fans can vote at www.socal101tv.com from among four games on Oct. 4: Reseda-Van Nuys, La Costa Canyon-Rancho Bernardo, San Fernando-Sylmar, San Pedro-Fairfax. The deadline for voting is Sept. 20.
Four games for voting for Oct. 11: Norco-Centennial, Camarillo-Pacifica, Cathedral City-Palm Desert, Quartz Hill-Highland.
For Oct. 18, the choices are Dorsey-Crenshaw, Fallbrook-El Camino, Del Norte-Rancho Bernardo and Banning-Gardena.
For Oct. 25, it’s Fountain Valley-Newport Harbor, El Segundo-North Torrance, Palm Springs-La Quinta, Agoura-Thousand Oaks.
There’s also games on Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.
So start organizing computer parties, because the voting has begun.
