Football: Palisades wins for new coach

Palisades made a successful debut for first-year Coach Tim Hyde, defeating Marshall, 52-13.
Joey Velez rushed for 237 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Taylor Mensik passed for two touchdowns and ran for another. Kellen Ware had an interception and a fumble recovery.
