Football: Maurice Davison is rising cornerback for Servite

Add the name Maurice Davison of Anaheim Servite as a defensive back to watch.
The junior has been taking on and more than holding his own against some very good receivers during the nonleague season, such as John “JuJu” Smith of Long Beach Poly and Dallis Todd of La Mirada.
He’s not only staying with the receivers but he’s making tackles, showing good speed and toughness.
He gets this week off, but then next week, he faces Concord De La Salle in a game on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Santa Ana Stadium. Southern California will be watching, and Davison has already shown he’s up to the task.
