Football: Los Angeles wins in the debut of Eric Scott
- Share via
Former UCLA assistant coach Eric Scott wasted little time in making an impact at Los Angeles.
The Romans won their season opener against Washington, 34-12.
Junior Elijah Thompson rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He also passed for 102 yards and two touchdowns and had an interception on defense. Richard Smith added 97 yards rushing and caught two touchdowns.
Scott, who previously was an assistant at Crenshaw and a former head coach at Compton Centennial, could have the Romans rolling. Next up is Jordan.
