Football: Leo Lambert III, CJ Sanders are scoring TDs in bunches

There’s an easy way to stop Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (2-0) this season: Just make sure Leo Lambert III or CJ Sanders stay out of the end zone.
Through two games, each has scored eight touchdowns.
Lambert, a running back, rushed for 306 and 166 yards against Mira Costa and Birmingham.
Sanders, a receiver, has scored touchdowns on a punt return and kickoff return besides receiving.
Next up for the Knights is a Friday home game against San Mateo Serra, which lost to Concord De La Salle, 41-13.
Serra is the former high school of Tom Brady and Barry Bonds. It also produced longtime Notre Dame defensive coordinator Joe McNab.
“I love Serra, but I want to beat them,” McNab said.
