Football: L.A. Salesian wins Northeast Division championship [Video]

L.A. Salesian won the Northeast Division championship on Saturday night, using a powerful defensive performance en route to a 34-0 win over San Luis Obispo Mission Prep.
A 26-point second-quarter outburst sent Salesian on its way to a 12th consecutive victory.
Salesian’s defense, led by Marquis Ware, Rodney Carr and Jamardre Cobb, held Mission Prep standout running back Patrick Laird to under 100 yards for the first time this season.
Sophomore Felipe Meza emerged the last two weeks as a standout running back for Salesian.
