Football: Greg Gano resigns at Tustin

After Tustin suffered its fourth consecutive loss on Friday night, Coach Greg Gano informed the school administration he had decided to resign, Athletic Director Myron Miller said Monday. Gano was in his first season as Tustin coach.
Winter Welz, who had been serving as an assistant coach at Trabuco Hills, will take over as head coach. He’s a Tustin grad and former Tustin assistant.
