Football: Freshman QB Matt Corral named starter at Oaks Christian

That didn’t take long.
Freshman Matt Corral has been named the starting quarterback at Oaks Christian after making his debut last week off the bench.
Corral passed for three touchdowns and ran for another against Venice. He’ll be starting on Friday against Antelope Valley.
Coach Bill Redell said Corral’s poise and talent elevated him into the starting role.
