Football: Former Camarillo QB Jeff Mathews is setting records at Cornell

In his first game of his senior season, former Camarillo quarterback Jeff Mathews completed 15 of 23 passes for 285 yards and three touchdowns in Cornell’s 45-13 victory over Bucknell.
Mathews enters the season as Cornell’s career passing leader. He now has 53 career touchdown passes, one shy of school record.
Former Loyola linebacker Bronson Green had nine tackles in Dartmouth’s 30-23 win over Butler.
