Football: Brandon Pierce starting to get noticed for Alemany

On a team with lots of weapons and speed, perhaps the most underrated player for unbeaten Alemany is senior receiver-defensive back Brandon Pierce.
He had two interceptions last week against Narbonne, had a couple long kickoff returns and made some clutch receptions.
It means teams that focus on stopping receiver Desean Holmes will get burned by Pierce, who has plenty of speed to cause problems.
