Boys’ basketball: World record holder Mike Powell to participate in alumni game

West Covina Edgewood is holding an alumni basketball game on Friday at 7 p.m. and among the scheduled participants is Mike Powell, the world record holder in the long jump at 29 feet, 4 1/4 inches. He’s 50 years old but he probably can still dunk.
