Boys’ basketball: View Park Prep has big plans for coming season

While most are predicting Westchester and El Camino Real to battle it out for City Section Division I supremacy in basketball, don’t forget about View Park Prep making noise in Division V with Division I talent.
View Park is loaded with talent and has put together a frequent flyer schedule that will have the team travel to Alabama, Wisconsin and Seattle for tournament games.
Chance Comanche, a 6-foot-11 junior, leads the team. Junior guard Darius Henderson has transferred in from Taft. Devin Newton is a highly regarded freshman guard. And Jason Carter and Cameron Jones are both 6-8 and should help Comanche.
