Boys’ basketball: Thomas Welsh takes recruiting visit to UCLA

Loyola’s 7-foot center, Thomas Welsh, took an official recruiting visit to UCLA on Saturday, one week after visiting California.
In an email, Coach Jamal Adams said, “He enjoyed it, learned a lot and is still sorting through the other schools on his list.”
He has a visit scheduled for Colorado.
