Boys’ basketball: Loyola’s Thomas Welsh will visit Cal, UCLA, Colorado

Thomas Welsh, the 7-foot senior senior from Los Angeles Loyola, will be taking an official recruiting visit to California this weekend. He also has visits set up for UCLA and Colorado.
He plans to take five visits before the early signing day in November, Coach Jamal Adams said.
Welsh won’t be playing in Saturday’s fall league game against Cantwell-Sacred Heart.
