Boys’ basketball: Ernest Baskerville is new coach at La Salle

Ernest Baskerville has resigned as boys’ basketball coach at Burbank Providence to take over the program at Pasadena La Salle.
He lives five minutes from the school and will inherit a team loaded with talented young players, led by sophomore Vance Jackson.
