Boys’ basketball: Alemany falls in tournament in Illinois

In its second day playing in a tournament in Illinois, Alemany’s basketball team was beaten by Proviso East, 74-61, on Thursday.
Earnie Sears scored 21 points to lead Alemany.
D.J. McDonald added 15 points and Shacquille Dawkins 13.
