Basketball: Southern Section releases playoff divisions

The Southern Section has released its playoff divisions for basketball. Remember, the top 16 teams will end up being in the Open Division.

You need to go to page 36 at this link to see the boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Division 1AA is loaded, as usual.

Torrance Bishop Montgomery won last season’s Open Division in boys.

Chaminade won the Open Division in girls.

Both return outstanding teams.

In 4AA, Alemany and Harvard-Westlake are in the division. So are likely Open Division teams Cantwell-Sacred Heart and Orange Lutheran.
