Gardena Serra has launched a search for a new baseball coach after the decision of Coach Wil Aaron to resign.
Athletic Director Joshua Dabbs was contacted on Tuesday about whether Aaron had resigned. He said he would have no comment until after a scheduled meeting with Aaron on Wednesday. He confirmed Aaron has resigned after seven years running the program.
Serra has since posted a job opening on the Southern Section website.
Serra always has strong baseball talent. It won a Division 3 title in 2013.
