Baseball: Warren’s Jose Ruiz Jr. commits to Cal State Northridge

Jose Ruiz Jr., a senior shortstop at Downey Warren, has committed to Cal State Northridge.
He’ll be a four-year starter at the varsity level. Last season, he batted .405 with 10 doubles and 27 RBIs.
“He’s a great hitter,” Coach Scott Pearson said.
Pitcher Chris Davidson of Village Christian committed to Coastal Carolina.
