Baseball: Sherman Oaks Notre Dame players will get on new field this week

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame baseball players lined up on Monday to take photos of the new $3 million stadium. The all-weather turf has been put down and the team is expected to hold its first practice session on the field on Thursday.
The first game is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Feb. 22 against the alumni. Neil Diamond will sing “Sweet Caroline” to open the field.
