Baseball: Jack Flaherty strikes out nine for USA 18U team

Jack Flaherty, the reigning Southern Section Division 1 player of the year from Harvard-Westlake, showed his skills on Sunday for the USA 18U national team, striking out nine in six innings while allowing two hits in an 8-0 victory over Italy at the IBAF World Cup in Taiwan.
Scott Hurst from Bishop Amat had two RBIs.
