Baseball: City Section showdown is set for Tuesday

In a game that could have major ramifications come playoff seeding time, Chatworth (9-1-1) will play at Banning (5-2) on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in a game matching perhaps the two top teams in the City Section.
Banning already owns a win over defending champion San Fernando, and a nonleague victory over the Chancellors would put the Pilots in position to gain the No. 1 seed if they were able to win the Marine League championship.
Chatsworth is expected to use sophomore ace Josh Garcia on the mound. Banning already has knocked off San Fernando ace Alonzo Garcia.
Because Banning only has one game this week, the Pilots could use all three of their top pitchers _ Gino Brockway, Justin Yanez and Michael Ramirez.
