Baseball: All-tournament team for Easton tournament

Here are the players selected for the all-tournament team from the Easton tournament the past two weeks:

Brandon Ponticelli of Alemany was 2-0 in 13 innings with 12 strikeouts.

Roy Verdejo of Saugus batted .533 with six doubles and eight RBIs.

Tyler Howell of Calabasas was 2-0 with eight strikeouts in 14 innings.

Lorenzo Perez of Simi Valley went eight for 13 with two home runs.

Keston Hiura of Valencia went 10 for 21 with three home runs.

Nick Valaika of Hart was nine for 18 with four stolen bases.

Jackson Simonsgaard of Thousand Oaks struck out 15 in 14 innings and didn’t allow a run.

Zander Clarke of Newbury Park was seven of 11.

Jake Bird of West Ranch had two complete games and struck out 18 in 15 innings.

Dustin Shirley of Loyola batted .692 with nine hits.
