Chris Paul ‘probable’ against Houston Rockets on Saturday
Clippers guard Chris Paul had 26 points with nine assists in a 112-108 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Nov. 4.

Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said that Chris Paul (strained right groin) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets, the team that eliminated the Clippers from the second round of the playoffs last season.
Paul sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s 112-108 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. He was taken out of the game with 13 seconds left.
“He’s OK,” Rivers said Friday. “He won’t practice today for sure, and he’ll be probable for tomorrow.”
Blake Griffin also was injured in Wednesday’s game after banging knees with a Warrior in the first half. Griffin said Friday he thinks the contact was with Festus Ezeli.
Griffin said he was going to practice Friday, but added there’s still some swelling.

“It’s not gone, but it’s not bad at all,” Griffin said. “I wouldn’t call this an issue.”
