Halloween is no guts, all glory for kids and canines at downtown costume festival

Halloween was all about good, clean, goreless family fun on Saturday in downtown Huntington Beach as the Downtown Business Improvement District presented its annual Halloween Fest.

Kids and canine costume contests were held on Fifth Street between Pacific Coast Highway and Walnut Avenue, while pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables and more filled Main Street between PCH and Orange Avenue.
