Pet of the Week

When Cooper was found as a stray in September, he was understandably scared by the sudden change in his circumstances. However, he quickly adjusted to kennel life and has become a model canine citizen.
Gentle is the word that volunteers often use to describe him. He is easy to walk on a leash and is attentive to the person at his side, responding readily to directions and praise — gazing up faithfully with those brown eyes. While he clearly enjoys exercise, he also loves to sit and be petted. Around other dogs, he shows impeccable manners.
Cooper is thought to be a chow/shepherd mix about 4 1/2 years old. He weights a fit 55 pounds and is healthy as well as house-trained, and he will be neutered before leaving the shelter. Adoption fees for all dogs, including charming Cooper, are reduced 25% until further notice. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
