High School Roundup: Newport Harbor girls’ volleyball remains unbeaten

Emma Fults had a team-high 10 kills to lead the Newport Harbor High School girls’ volleyball team to a 25-14, 25-8, 25-14 sweep of Woodbridge on the road Tuesday in a nonleague match.
Emma Coatsworth, Malia Thorne and Quinn Perry each contributed five kills for the Sailors, who improved to 2-0 on the young season.
Newport Harbor had 16 service aces as a team. The Sailors travel to take on Sage Hill on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.
Marina 3, Ocean View 0: The Vikings came away with the sweep by a score of 25-14, 25-15, 25-22 in an all-Huntington Beach tilt in nonleague play on Tuesday.
Marina moved its record to 7-2. The Vikings came off a strong showing in the Portola Tournament, where they finished second.
Ocean View dropped to 1-1 overall.
