Jr. Patriots topple Vipers

Luke Gane ripped the net for six goals and the Jr. Patriots led most

of the way in defeating the HB Vipers 93, 7-3, in Squirt Club

Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington

Beach.

Sean Easton scored the other Jr. Patriots goal.

Evan Sebastian picked up a pair of goals and Brooke Easton and

Brandon Jones each had one assist.

Matt Bodziak finished with 15 saves.

Tyler O’Donnell and Zackary Beko each had a goal and assist and

Garrett Blackwell scored once for the Vipers.

In other Squirt Club Division matches:

Red Bulls 6, Jr. Patriots 5

John Webb posted three goals as the Red Bulls edged the Jr.

Patriots.

Jeremy Jennings scored twice and assisted a third goal and Bobby

Sowma had a goal and assist and

Aaron Sutton recorded 33 saves.

Luke Gane again paced the Jr. Patriots, this time with three goals

and an assist.

Sean Easton and Carsten Beith also scored, Evan Sebastian had an

assist and Matt Bodziak had 21 saves.

Rink Raiders 2, Rink Rats 0

Nick Somes had 19 saves and the Rink Raiders defense got the

shutout against the Rink Rats.

Vipers 8, Pop Guns 6

Jeff Fuzzard’s three goals led the way for the Vipers as they held

off the Pop Guns.

Robert Oliver and Blake Cooper each scored twice and Blake Kelly

scored once.

Fuzzard and Cooper also had two assists each and Oliver, Dylan

Dongird and Jared Hackworth each had an assist.

Ryan Harrison had 14 saves.
