MARK THE DAY

In the coming weeks, the Daily Pilot will be compiling information

for a 2005 calendar, which will be made available to our readers in

December. As we did last year, we hope to include all of the major

social, civic, business, entertainment and sporting events that take

place in Newport-Mesa and at UC Irvine.

If you have events you’d like to see in our calendar, e-mail the

date, time, place and nature of the event to our e-mail at

[email protected]. Submissions will be subject to editing. The

deadline is Oct. 29.
