Laguna woman named advisor for bank

Lagunan Anne E. McInnis was named wealth advisor for the Orange
County office of Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management in Costa
Mesa. In her new position, McInnis said she will work with
individuals and foundations planning strategies to increase and
preserve their wealth.
“I love dealing with the entrepreneurs,” she said. “I love working
with families over the long term.”
McInnis has more than 30 years of experience in private and
corporate banking. Her most recent position was vice president and
senior client advisor at the Costa Mesa office of Wilmington Trust,
FSB. She has also served as vice president of private banking for
Northern Trust Bank in Newport Beach, and held multiple positions at
Security Pacific.
Election festival will have plenty of candidates
The inaugural Laguna Beach Election Festival will be held in a
little more than one month.
Candidates for all offices representing Lagunans, from the local
City Council to the presidency, have been invited to meet their
constituents and discuss their positions. The three candidates for
City Council, Cheryl Kinsman, Wayne Baglin and Jane Egly have agreed
to attend.
City treasurer candidate Laura Parisi, who is running unopposed,
is also expected to show up, as are Democratic Congressional
candidate John Graham and U.S. Senate candidates James Gray of the
Libertarian Party and Marsha Feinland of the Peace and Freedom Party.
Public question and answer forums will be conducted for all races
in which two candidates are present. Advocates for and against ballot
propositions have also been asked to share their views.
The event will be organized by the Laguna Beach chapter of the
League of Women voters in cooperation with other groups, and will be
partly sponsored by the Laguna Beach Coastline Pilot. The festival is
scheduled to be held Oct. 2 at Laguna Beach High School, 625 Park
Ave.
DRB Task force will meet Monday
The Design Review Task Force will meet Monday to discuss matters
surrounding the group’s plans, such as purpose, organization and
schedule.
The meeting will be at 5 p.m. in the Conference Room at City Hall,
