Huntington Dog Beach will hold a beach cleanup. Free pizza,
cleaning supplies and quarters for parking will be provided. The
cleanup will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and volunteers will meet
at the white canopy near tower 24. Parking will be available along
Pacific Coast Highway between Goldenwest Street and Seapoint Avenue.

The Huntington Beach Pro/Junior Surf Series will be a United
States Surfing Federation sanctioned competition. The time of the
event will be announced. The event will be held at the south side of
the pier, near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Main

A support group for adult children of Alzheimer’s individuals
sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Assn. of Orange County will meet at 7:30

Coping at Home, a survival guide for caregivers workshop, will be
offered at the Adult Day Services of Orange County from 6:30 to 8:30
p.m. at 9451 Indianapolis Ave. This workshop will educate those on
how to handle the behavioral challenges associated with dementia.

“God at the Movies,” a unique Bible study that will look at movies
in a new, creative way for will last six weeks on Friday nights from

The Lighten Up Fitness Center for women will hold a free seminar

CIVIC GROUPS
The SOS Investment Club meets regularly on the second Monday of
each month and is seeking new members interested in studying
companies and making long-term investments. The group’s meetings are

The Huntington Beach
Chapter of the National Assn. of the Physically Handicapped
provides disabled children and adults the opportunity to make their
lives become more vital to the community through providing
informative newsletters four times a year from National Headquarters.
It meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at

The Clara Barton chapter
of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will
meet at 9:30 a.m. on the Thursday preceding the third Saturday of

can prove lineal bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in
